Rodrigo Vera, President Rodrigo founded Southern Cross Building Products in 2003 with the vision of creating a company that offers unparalleled service that focuses on the best and most logical solutions to fulfill each client’s unique needs. Rodrigo has over 20 years of “hands on” experience growing global sourcing and sales teams for multinational organizations in Australia, Asia, Europe, and Latin America. Prior to founding Southern Cross, he held senior positions for NASDAQ listed and Fortune 100 companies. Rodrigo earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies from Loyola University.
John Schutt, Managing Director of National Sales and Marketing John brings over 40 years of experience in construction and building materials. Prior to joining Southern Cross Building Products, John has served as a licensed general contractor in residential and commercial construction, outside sales manager for tile and stone importers, and a national sales manager for a manufacturer of replica early American wood moldings. John is also an executive and sales force leadership trainer.
Lewis Lanier, Operations Manager Lewis has as extensive experience working with clients that have complex project management requirements and guidelines. He brings over 12 years of experience in sourcing, logistics, and operations management. Prior to joining Southern Cross, Lewis served as Director of Customer Relations for Mellon Home Technologies where he improved customer satisfaction by 90% and has held positions in companies such as Allin Interactive and CardUSA. Lewis has obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science.
Tara Root, Office Manager/Accounts Payable Tara is the newest member of the Southern Cross team and brings with her over 12 years of experience in HR. Prior to joining Southern Cross Tara worked as a customer relations specialist for a large health rehabilitation center. She served as a liaison to upper management and her main responsibilities included: problem solving and decision making skills to identify, research, and resolve issues quickly.
Julio Vizcarra, Logistics Coordinator Julio comes to us from the beautiful city of Miami, FL. Julio is a highly accomplished logistics coordinator who is a resourceful, self-managed professional who can forge a strong and ongoing client relationships. Julio effectively works with people of different backgrounds and temperaments and he is effective in delivering results.
